Aurora Borealis
Curtains of northern lights sway over a starfield with falling meteors. Click to send a gust of solar wind through the sky.
A quiet night sky in the far north. Three curtains of aurora hang above the ridge line, a high violet veil behind a cyan sheet behind the classic green, and each one sways to its own slow rhythm. The light comes and goes in patches, brightens along the lower edge and dissolves upward, with the fine vertical rays that real aurora curtains show. Beneath the lights a field of stars twinkles at individual pace, and every now and then a meteor draws a thin line across the dark before it burns out above the silhouette of the mountains. Click anywhere to send a gust of solar wind into the sky. The curtains above your click flare up, stretch and ripple for a few seconds, then settle back into their slow dance. This is the calmest piece in the collection, made for watching rather than playing.
