The Lab grows, plus updates across The Grid

A wave of new experiments lands in The Lab, plus a new way to view them and fresh touches across The Grid.

The Lab just got a lot bigger. A batch of new experiments is now live, from glitchy visual toys to small generative sketches, with more room to tinker.

Alongside them, The Lab gained an immersive viewer so you can step through the experiments one by one in full screen, without the page furniture getting in the way.

The rest of The Grid moved too. Dreamscape and Wonders can now play as full-screen ambient slideshows with music, and a few corners picked up polish and fixes along the way.

Go poke around. There is a lot of new neon to find.

Downhill Football is here

Our wildest game yet just dropped. Send a football tumbling down the hill, and this is only the start.

Downhill Football is live, and it might be the most fun thing we have made so far. Send the ball tumbling down the slope, dodge, bounce and score your way to the bottom.

It plays right in the browser today, and it is heading to more platforms soon so you can take it with you.

We are not done. More environments are on the way, each with its own look and its own hazards. The difficulty will climb, we are cooking up new powerups that are far too fun to keep to ourselves, and a few secret upgrades are hidden for the players who dig.

Give it a run and see how far you get.

The Jukebox is open

On May 15 we opened the Arcynia Jukebox with 12 tracks of synthwave and retro-electronic to play while you browse.

On May 15 the Arcynia Jukebox went live with 12 tracks to start the rotation. Hit play and let it run while you wander the arcade.

The sound leans synthwave, vaporwave and retro-electronic, tuned to match the neon. It keeps going in the background as you move between games, so the music never stops when you do.

Every track has its own page for the story behind it and a permalink you can share. This is just the opening set, and more will slide into the rotation over time.

Turn it up.

The Grid opens

On April 14 we opened The Grid, a new world-building layer with a handful of standalone regions to explore.

On April 14 The Grid came online. It is the world-building layer of Arcynia, a place that sits beside the arcade and gives the world some depth.

The Grid is built from small standalone regions, each with its own theme and its own job. Some are quiet visual scenes to wander, some are workshops and dispatch channels, and all of them add to the lore around the games.

Step through the gate and look around. The Grid will keep growing, with new regions arriving over time.

See you in The Grid.

Arcynia is live

The doors opened on March 29. A free retro-neon arcade you can play instantly, no account and no downloads.

On March 29 we switched Arcynia on and let the neon warm up. What started as a small idea grew into a place to play.

Everything runs straight in the browser. Pick a game and go, no sign-up, no installs, no waiting. Snake, Pong, Breakout-style classics and quick-reaction shooters are all a click away.

Arcynia is one part of a three-part world from Injosoft, alongside Binaryia for story and Graphynia for visuals. This is only the first transmission, and more is already on the way.

Thanks for tuning in.
