Rotozoomer

An endless texture spins and zooms across the whole screen, from neon checkers to the Arcynia logo itself.

One of the defining effects of the Amiga demo scene, rebuilt pixel by pixel. The entire screen becomes a window onto an infinite tiled texture that rotates and zooms forever, computed the same way the classics did it, with incremental sampling and not a single trig call per pixel. The zoom breathes in and out, the spin drifts and reverses on its own, and the view slowly wanders so the pattern never sits still. Click to jump between three textures, a neon checkerboard, the Arcynia logo tiled into infinity, and rings that dissolve into moire patterns as they turn. Hold the pointer down and the whole thing kicks into turbo. Rendered in chunky low resolution and upscaled with hard pixels, exactly the way it looked in 1992.
