Kefrens Bars
The legendary one line trick from the Amiga scene. Neon bars smear into shimmering curtains, from a single lonely ribbon to wild woven walls of light.
One of the deepest cuts from the Amiga demo scene, named after the group that made it famous. The screen is drawn one scanline at a time using a single line buffer that is never cleared, so every row inherits the row above it. A handful of neon bars slide along sine paths as the lines are drawn, and the inheritance smears them into flowing metallic curtains that look like they should be impossible.
The buttons switch between four arrangements. SINGLE lets one lonely ribbon sweep the screen with its curtain trailing behind like a shimmering harp. CALM weaves eight ribbons in slow arcs. WILD doubles the chaos until the whole screen becomes woven fabric. MIRROR pairs every bar with its reflection and builds symmetric cathedral drapes that cross like strands of DNA.
Every color is a hand built metallic ramp, every frame is pure integer pixel work, and a soft phosphor afterglow between frames gives the curtains the sheen of an old CRT. Click anywhere to throw the pattern away and let a new one weave itself.
